QUICK START
Start with these steps
- 01
Choose visibility
Public entries can appear in Earth Updates and resident spaces; private entries remain yours.
- 02
Add a real record
Write text and optionally add images and a confirmed place.
- 03
Review before publishing
Check visibility, images, and location against your sharing intent.
- 04
Change it later
The author can switch visibility while preserving the record and its interactions.
01
Decide who the diary is for
Public diaries may appear in Earth Updates and an open resident space. Private diaries remain visible only to their author. The author can later switch visibility while preserving text, images, publish time, and existing interactions.
If an entry contains family details, an address, workplace information, or another person's image, private is the safer starting point.
02
Use images to record process, not only results
A life diary can include up to nine images, making it useful for before-and-after work, scenes from a walk, or stages of a longer plan. Thumbnails are cropped for the feed, while the full viewer preserves each image.
Check doors, plates, receipts, and faces before uploading. Review again before changing a private diary to public.
03
A place is saved only after confirmation
Web and Android prefer device location and fall back to coarse network location when needed; iOS prefers its native map capability. Manual entry remains available.
Place information is saved only when the resident confirms and publishes it. A missing location never blocks the diary.
04
Earth Updates is not an unlimited public profile
Earth Updates returns public diaries only. Your own private records remain under Life Diary. Following and mention feeds use separate data and notifications point to specific content.
Comments, resonance, and resident-space visits support connection, but the value of a record does not depend on engagement counts.
05
Use a four-part privacy check
Before publishing, check visibility, image privacy, location precision, and whether the text contains information you would not want indexed later.
Public entries suit reusable experience and everyday beauty. Private entries suit emotion, health, family, and plans that are not ready to be shared. Both count as growth.
