QUICK START
Start with these steps
- 01
Find the resident number
Confirm the permanent number in your own profile.
- 02
Prepare the private recovery code
Enter it only in the official recovery flow.
- 03
Verify the restored profile
Check the name, avatar, history, and growth record.
01
Resident numbers and recovery codes have different jobs
A resident number identifies a profile and may appear publicly. A recovery code is a private credential used to restore the same profile.
Keep the recovery code somewhere you control. Support agents, community members, and download sites should never ask for the complete code.
02
Use an official recovery flow on a new device
Open a supported Earth Online client, choose the existing-resident or recovery path, and follow the prompts. A correct recovery continues the same server-side quest history and growth record.
If the network fails, do not create several replacement residents. Confirm the official source and try again later.
03
Check the restored record before continuing
Verify the resident name, avatar, birthday information, and recent history. Stop if the profile does not match.
Never place the recovery code in a public diary, screenshot, social card, or feedback message.
FAQ
Questions residents often ask
Can a resident number restore the profile by itself?
No. Web recovery also requires the matching private recovery code.
Should I send the recovery code to support?
No. Do not send the complete code to another person or page.
Will recovery erase old quest history?
Correctly restoring the same resident continues server-side growth history.
